Position: Part-timer

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong interest in the second-hand clothing market and appreciation for fashion

• Is confident and comfortable in engaging with customers and consigners

• Has basic computer skills, especially in the Google Suite

• Is organised and detail oriented

• Is energetic (we spend 7 - 8 hours a day on our feet!)

• Is a self-starter and a team player - we are BIG on taking initiative

• Shows sound judgement, diplomacy and an overall professional attitude

• Will contribute to a positive, dynamic and inclusive work environment

• Is flexible in terms of availability, including weekends and public holidays

• Bonus points: If you are multi-lingual in any language and/or passionate about styling!

Daily tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for overseeing all store operations including:

  • Opening and closing procedures

  • Store cleanliness and organisation

  • Customer service: Fostering existing and creating new customer relationships and assisting in customer interactions with both buyers and consigners

  • The LOOOP curation & onboarding process for clothes: This includes curating, quality checks, hanging, tagging, labelling, steaming etc (bonus if you have basic mending skills)

• Ensuring outstanding service by creating a friendly environment. This includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer, and being knowledgeable about products

• Adhering to all company policies

• Performing any other related duties as directed by the Store Manager

Experience

Experience of retail is encouraged but not required.

If you thrive in new and challenging environments, have strong people skills along with an interest for fashion, and love forging new relationships with a diverse range of customers, we think that this is the kind of position you would enjoy :)

Schedule:

• 7 – 8 hour shift

• 3 – 5 days a week

• Block leaves available upon request, and approvals dependant on necessity

  • Requires weekend & public holiday availability

Contract Period: Minimum 3.5 Months
