LOOOP for GOOOD

Our commitment to mindfully donating, upcycling and rehoming secondhand clothes

We work with local organisations, brands & individuals to mindfully donate, up-cycle or recycle pieces that do not pass our curation, or remain unsold after their 8-weeks in the store.

Here are some of them:

  • Refuge For The Refugees (RFTR) is a one stop centre that looks into advocating for the rights of refugees in Malaysia. From policy and advocacy work, all the way down to case management, individual support and providing educational programmes, the aim of RFTR is to provide the best possible care and support to the community, being mindful to include them in creating solutions.’ – RFTR

Currently, LOOOP works with RFTR to donate pieces of good quality & condition directly to the Myanmar Ethnic Women Organization (MEWRO) & communities within Kampung Melayu Subang.

  • If you have visited the store, you would have noticed we have a textiles donation bin – this is operated by Upcycle4Better & Life Line Clothing Malaysia, the only zero waste, ISO accredited textiles recycler in Malaysia.

Pieces that do not pass our curation are donated here to be upcycled or recycled.

  • Stay tuned! We’re currently working with one of our talented members of Team LOOOP to launch our first capsule collection of upcycled clothing accessories. These designs will be upcycled from pieces that we are unable to sell in store due to stains or damage.

For other brands or individuals looking for secondhand pieces to use in upcycling projects, you may contact us here.
